COUCOU goes beyond clothing and pulls inspiration from the palpable experience of a dinner party. With a shared love of sapid foods, piquant wines and sultry passionate music, the designers wanted to create a collection that felt celebratory, rich, nourishing and playful. The collection is shot alongside towering delectables such as funky blue cheese, rich malbecs and buttery mushrooms to create a multi-sensory story.
The palette highlights rich jewel-toned colors, coupled with intermittent pops of color and grounding neutrals. Plush quilted fabrics featured in long coats, seamed luxe silks crafted with unexpected patchwork, sueded drapey twills, eclectic colorblocking, psychedelic prints, and contrast stitching are all elements of the COUCOU AW20 Collection.
